A personal project by Arnab Mukherjee
I work in technology and spend some of my free time helping independent service businesses use software, automation, data and AI to solve real operational problems. I don’t charge. I get to learn from people who’ve actually built successful businesses.

A practical starting point
Where I might be useful
Every business is different, so I start by understanding how yours actually works. These are some of the areas where my background tends to be useful.
01
Workflow Automation
Repetitive office work, customer communication, scheduling, reporting, data entry, and other processes that shouldn’t require as much manual work as they do.
02
Revenue Recovery
Missed inquiries, forgotten estimates, old customers, renewals, and other places where business may be falling through the cracks.
03
Management Intelligence
Making the information already sitting in your software, spreadsheets, and systems easier to understand and more useful for making decisions.
Sometimes AI is useful. Sometimes a simple automation, or better use of software you already have is the better answer.
A personal exchange
Why am I doing this?
I think there’s an unnecessary knowledge gap. Someone can spend 30 years mastering a trade and building a great business without spending those same 30 years learning software, automation or AI. That shouldn’t make technology feel inaccessible, or require expensive consultants just to understand what’s actually useful.
I’ve spent my career on the technology side. I’m increasingly interested in entrepreneurship and want to learn from people who have actually built and operated successful businesses.
I’ll bring what I know about technology. You teach me about your business.
If we find something useful, I’ll help implement it. I don’t charge for my time.
Modern technology shouldn’t be an advantage reserved for large, consolidated businesses.
How it works
01
We talk
You show me how your business works, what’s frustrating you, or something you wish worked better.
02
I investigate
I look at the problem and figure out whether technology can meaningfully help.
03
We try something
If there’s a worthwhile opportunity, I’ll help implement it.
No consulting fee. No software to sell. No complicated process.
About me
Arnab Mukherjee
I’ve spent my career building and improving technology products, from startups to large technology companies, working across product, growth, software, analytics and automation. I also built and sold my own small business, which is part of why I’m increasingly interested in how owner-operated businesses work.
A simple conversation
Technology should give independent owners more choices, not fewer.
